Daysails around Angel Island

Three days of short hops out of Oakland, working the boat back and forth around Angel Island to see what she wanted. Sea trials in everything but name. We reefed early, shook it out, tacked her up the city front and back down again, and made notes on every winch, cleat, and lead that argued with us.

Nothing broke that mattered. A few things worked loose that would have to be watched. The point of these days was not to go anywhere, it was to learn the boat close to home before pointing her at open water.
