Anniversary sail with Hannah to Catalina

An anniversary crossing with Hannah aboard, the channel doing its best summer impression: warm, blue, and easy. We took our time getting there, no reason to hurry, the island getting greener and closer all afternoon.

We picked up a mooring at Avalon and stayed in the middle of the little harbour, the casino lit up at night and the town close enough to hear. The kind of trip that reminds you what all the work was for.
